I Don’t Live by What I See
The Word of God is true. It is the only eternal truth.
Psalms 119:160 (NKJV)
160 The entirety of Your word is truth,
And every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever.
The Doctor says “You have this…”
The Word says:
Psalms 91:16 (AMP)
16 With long life will I satisfy him and show him My salvation.
I can see the scans that the Doctor sees…
The Word says:
Psalms 121:1 (NKJV)
1 I will lift up my eyes to the hills—
From whence comes my help?
Micah 7:7 (NKJV)
7 Therefore I will look to the LORD;
I will wait for the God of my salvation;
My God will hear me.
I can feel the pain that nags, discourages and debilitates…
The Word says:
Isaiah 53:4-5 (CJB)
4 In fact, it was our diseases he bore,
our pains from which he suffered;
yet we regarded him as punished,
stricken and afflicted by God.
5 But he was wounded because of our crimes,
crushed because of our sins;
the disciplining that makes us whole fell on him,
and by his bruises we are healed.
I don’t live by what I hear, see or feel. I live by THE WORD OF GOD!
Exodus 15:26 (AMP)
26 Saying, If you will diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord your God and will do what is right in His sight, and will listen to and obey His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases upon you which I brought upon the Egyptians, for I am the Lord Who heals you.
Psalms 118:8 & 14 (NKJV)
8 It is better to trust in the LORD
Than to put confidence in man.
14 The LORD is my strength and song,
And He has become my salvation.
God’s Word does not fail!
Joshua 23:14 (ESV)
(Moses): 14 “And now I am about to go the way of all the earth, and you know in your hearts and souls, all of you, that not one word has failed of all the good things that the LORD your God promised concerning you. All have come to pass for you; not one of them has failed.
Matthew 24:35 (TPT)
35 The earth and sky will wear out and fade away before one word I speak loses its power or fails to accomplish its purpose.”
Isaiah 55:11 (KJV)
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth:
it shall not return unto me void,
but it shall accomplish that which I please,
and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
He sent His Word and healed me and delivered me from my destructions (Ps 107:20).
I remember all His benefits:
He forgave all my iniquities
He healed me of all my diseases
He redeemed me from the pit and destruction
He covered me with loving-kindness and tender mercies
And He fills my life with good things so my youth is renewed as the eagles (Ps 103:2-5)
No matter the challenge, God’s Word always works!
